Chapter VIII - Termination

Article 18 - The INSTITUTO will only be terminated, or incorporated to another public or private institution if it is proved that it can not realize its objectives with financial and operational autonomy.

First Paragraph - The extinction of the INSTITUTO or its incorporation to another institution can only be determined by a majority of the members of the Board of Curators, in a meeting especially called for this purpose, and with the presence of all of tis members.

Article 19 - In case of termination or extinction of the INSTITUTO, its remaining assets will be passed to another institution, registered in the CNAS - National Council of Social Assistance, with a purpose similar to that of the INSTITUTO, preferably one with its headquarters and activities in the municipality of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, or to a public agency.
