I - To help and support athletes so that they can conduct their training and preparation. To do so the Instituto will conduct the following activities:
a) Provide incentives, maintenance and supervision of sporting activities, identify and develop new talents within the areas determined to be priorities by the Board of Curators;
b) Provide all or partial expenses for training, travel and any other equipment or material needed for the good performance of the selected athlete;
c) Promote the acceleration of the personal, sporting and professional development of its athletes.
II - Develop and promote sporting activities within the theme areas chosen by its Board of Curators, and to do so exercise the following activities:
a) Acquire, be granted, or by other legal means so that it has rights to the locations, didactic material and sporting equipment specified by the Board of Curators;
b) Pay for, totally or partially, sporting events, research activities, expositions and promotion of work and technical, historic and educational information about tennis .
c) Build, rent, or acquire the ownership or right to use locations for the realization of the activities related to the above item, with satisfactory technical and safety conditions;
d) Develop, pay for or sponsor the development and publication of means to promote the sport and technical, historic and educational information about tennis, respecting the applicable copywrites.
III - Other related activities that go along with and facilitate the accomplishment of the purposes described above.
First paragraph: To facilitate the achievement of its purposes and objectives the INSTITUTO can enter into accords, contracts and partnerships with other institutions.
Second paragraph: The INSTITUTO will provide free and permanent services without any discrimination among clients.
Article 4 - The purposes and objectives of the INSTITUTO include:
