To bring to the Instituto Tênis athletes with the greatest potential for personal and professional success and who have the greatest probability of sharing it with the Institute.

High technical, intellectual and professional potential:
- high probability of placing well in tournaments.

- model behavior (can serve as an inspiration) and ability to make changes.

Identification with the ideals of the Institute:
- probability of sharing their success with the other athletes with grants and maintain our virtuous circle.

- readiness to participate in the development of the country, placing their success and abilities at the benefit of this service

The evaluation will be permeated by many subjective factors. We make an effort to record everything that can be quantified and evaluated based on the information supplied to the Institute, such as: the registration form completed by the applicant, the history presented by the athlete, his or her talent, technical skills base, age, and what he or she said to the members of the Instituto during the interview so that the staff, its directors and council can make a decision about his or her participation in the Instituto Tênis.

Registration can be conducted only on the web site of the Instituto Tênis. We do not supply any type of information by telephone and the athlete will only meet with the Instituto when called.

This involves the analysis of the athlete's record. Preference will be given by analyzing determining factors such as the athlete's age, potential and position in the ranking, etc.

Document request

Complete documentation is requested. The athlete's dossier should have documents including: athlete's income tax declaration, resume, statement of expected expenses and income. Etc.

. Two 3 x 4 photos;

. Properly completed registration form;

. Personal letter to the Instituto, explaining the reason he or she is requesting the Grant;

. Detailed accounting statement with complete information about expected income and expenses during the entire year;

. Copy of the athlete's last complete Income Tax declaration with the Declaration of Property and proof of filing:

a) from the athlete
b) from parents;
c) from spouse;

Copy of personal documents: RG (identification), CPF (taxpayer ID number) and proof of residence.

All documentation is checked and carefully analyzed. If any item is missing, or in case of doubts concerning the veracity of the information, we may request that the athlete send additional documentation. Once everything is in order, the athlete will be called for an interview with the Board of the Instituto Tênis.

The objective of this interview is to conduct a personal evaluation of the athlete, principally concerning his or her atitude and response to the questions. It seeks to identify his or her ethical profile. Commitment to the Instituto is also an important objective.
